Trade Walkthrough Series: Trade#3 $CNPF

Pera na sana naging bato pa!

This is the main story of this trade. I was already sitting around more than 5% already. But ended up losing the trade as a result. The thing is there's no sell signal yet at that level. And when the sell signal showed up on a daily time frame when the price closed during the EOD for two consecutive days---yet I'm not able to execute to sell.

It's too convenient to blame my day job, dahil napaka busy talaga those two days. But I will not do that. It's my responsibility as a trader to act on my signals.

Bottom line, I was not able to trade well in this trade. No doubt, my trading system works. As a trader, I was not able to act on my signals. The above picture is the result of the trade. Pathetic.

I was able to filter CNPF around August 2, that was Sunday and waited till my signal showed up on August 6.

As you can see in the above screenshot, I was able to enter on the same at EOD. Then then the trade went on my way as the price move up as you can see in the below screenshot.

In the below screenshot the sell signal should twice. In the first sell signal, I should have sold it but I was unable to do it.

The succeeding candle also closed below the ALMA line which is already a confirmation that its time to sell. But still I'm not able to do it. I could have salvage a 2.5 % gain.

As you can see as I was able to exit on August 19 when its too late. Glad that's it's still considered a small loss.

Lesson learned - is that when you trade, I should not be distracted. With my work naaaaa! This is part of the territory as a part time trader working as a full time as an OFW.

Trade Walkthrough Series: Trade#2 $BPI

I lost in this trade, but I traded well. This is the ultimate goal of the trader. "To Trade Well".

How could you trade well then, if you lost?

Well, to trade well is to trade by following your trading plan / strategy. You sink or swim with your trading plan. A good trading plan has a well-define entry and exit signals / parameters. The most important---the strategy, or the plan, or the trading system, or whatever you call it... it must have a risk management plan.

In this case, the CALMA trading strategy has a very clear entry, exit parameters or signal and risk management plan. I simply executed the buy and sell as the signals or parameters appear on the chart. In this case, it appeared where I have to take a loss. Although, it's a loss but it's not a big loss.

There are only five trading results:
1. Small win.
2. Big win.
3. Breakeven.
4. Small loss.
5. Big loss.

You can take the first 4 blindly and it will never hurt your portfolio. But avoid and hate number 5, because this will ruin your trading psychology. And if you avoided the big loss, you will become a profitable trader.

In my first trade, I traded RFM and I wrote about it in detailed the entry or buy signals or parameters, you may click this link to read that one: https://retechson.blogspot.com/2026/07/trade-walkthrough-series-trade1-rfm.html

In this trade walkthrough, I will be walking you through my exit execution.

One of the additional exit strategy of the CALMA is to choose a shorter time frame to exit, when the index is down trend or you are in a bear market, or when the index is down on that day. This is to reduce the amount of risk.

At the time I exited this trade, the PSEI had been showing 3 consecutive bearish candle---long bearish candle and so I adjusted my exit time frame from weekly to daily. The sell signal is once the price closes below alma line. In this case, the last three candles closed below the Alma line.

So why, I did not exit in the first candle?

I was looking for confirmation. Indeed, the second to the last candle did confirm that the price is below the Alma line. But why you did not sell Rey? Well, I give the stock a chance because it closed the same price as the first candle. But the last candle registered the real confirmation as it closes below the previous close. And so, I exited.

I don't care about the result. It could be gain or loss. The important thing is I followed the plan.

And so, I completed my second trade, 28 trades more to go! Of course the next step is to journal.

However, if you look at the above screenshot what did you notice?

I barely escaped. I was not able to enter my bid at the final bid and ask time. That's the time before 9:50 AM. I just got lucky that there were still remaining buyers who bid to buy at the closing price of PHP 103. So, I was able to exit. Otherwise pang apat na candle na below the Alma ang price.

So, huwag kalimutang mag journal. Above is the journal I entered in excel. And then below is the various graphics that show about our trading outcome so far.

On my previous post, I was excited about a new venture. Yes! about the carwash that was being offered to me to buy by the owner. Well, I did my own due diligence and it happened that I found some red flags that I will hinder me from trouble shooting this carwash business from losing to turn it around and be profitable again.

The problem is the that the owner had no financial statements to show to me. So, without me actually operating and taking over the business, then only I will come to know if the numbers the owner verbally told me will add up.

The second thing is that he has very high operating expense. Higher than my vulcanizing shop. He has higher rent, water bill and electricity bill. Although there's no payroll expense as it is vendo and DIY business model.

The third reason, why I back out is because of the strong presence of a competitor located just few meters away from the subject carwash.

So, this things I learned when you become an insider investor. You will be able to spot a good investment or business or a bad investment or business of others.

In my next trade walkthrough episode, we will talk about what is an insider investor.

Stocks Screening - 8 July 2026

So, today I've filtered some stocks to trade from the PSE and we found six stocks that showed potential buy signals. As usual, I used the CALMA setup to screen and filter the stocks. This set-up is a combination of ALMA and CCI indicators. The time-frame used is weekly. This is a swing trade strategy.

To those who want to learn about this set-up you may watch the video playlist that I made in my YouTube channel.

Below is the recorded video of the stocks screening I did earlier today, 8 July 2026.

$RFM Nagkabuhusan before Ex-date kaya nauna na ako

In my previous post, I wrote about preparing to exit the trade on Wednesday, 8 July thinking it's the ex-date but actually it is the record date. So, let me correct myself, dapat sa 7 July ang plan to exit, however at EOD on Monday ay nagkabuhusan na at ang closing price ng $RFM on a daily time frame is 5.64 from 5.70.

So, no-choice kundi nag exit na din ako to avoid more damage sa maliit kong portfolio. Protect your capital at all times ika nga. Napaaga tuloy ang exit.

Muntik pa nga madisgrasya, if you look at the above screenshot, my first order was rejected because I'm late to click the sell button. The timestamp showed my order time is at exactly 14:50:00 grabe!! Sumakto talaga sa time na ang order na pwedeng pumasok is yong similar lang sa closing price which is 5.64.

Glad that there still buyers at 5.64 pesos, that's why I still got the chance to exit at the same price. Dahil on the following day, Tuesday the price plummeted to the lowest of that day at 5.57 pesos. Although, I did not lose but I will not be able to get the dividend. Sayang din yon.

So, till the next trade ulit.

My first Buy after Almost Two Years Hiatus on Stocks Trading

On June 15, I bought my first shares of stocks after two years na nahinto sa stocks trading. I did the same routine where I left off two years ago. Like filtering stocks using the strategy I'd like to use and CALMA. If you want to know more about this strategy click this playlist on my YouTube channel the guide on how to use this strategy.

So, this is the screen shot of the transaction. Just a small amount of shares just to start live trading once again. At nangangapa talaga ako. I need to rewatch those videos on how to enter at EOD to make sure you will be able to buy.

The buy signals to look for, before entering a stock position using this strategy are the following:

  1. Price should be above the alma line when you buy.
  2. The risk should be maximum 5 percent.
  3. Volume should be at least above average.
  4. CCI pointing upward and about to cross +100 level.
  5. Volume should be minimum 1 million.
This is how the chart look like the day I bought shares of this stock.

Luckily, the stock price moved up after I bought shares, but I'm very cautious about this trade because if you look at it, there's upcoming dividend. The ex-date will be this coming Wednesday 8 July.

So, I planned to exit this during that day at the opening price to get also dividend. Why I planned to exit on this day because usually a stock price plummets at the ex-date as many investors who entered just get dividend get out of the trade and look for another opportunities.

So, let's see on Wednesday, if I will be able to come out unscathed on this trade and hopefully come out gain. But the main objective is to trade well, by executing the plan associated with the strategy. Stay tuned. Update ko kayo sa resulta.

How I Escaped Living Paycheck to Paycheck

From the beginning of my working career---that was right after graduation from college in 1997 up until 2015, I found myself trapped in a cycle familiar to many: living paycheck to paycheck. The same thing happened even though I was able to work overseas as an OFW in 2006 but still the cycle continues. My situation even get worse while working as an OFW. I came to a point wherein I sold my blood at a blood bank for straight six months (literally blood... the white blood cells or the leukocytes). The constant stress of not knowing if I could make ends meet weighed heavily on me. I knew I needed a change, and that year, I took the first step on a journey that would eventually lead to financial stability.

It all started with a free seminar on financial literacy. I'm forever grateful to OFSI and its team. The seminar opened my eyes to the possibilities of managing money wisely and growing it through investments. It was a turning point in my life. The knowledge I gained motivated me to take action immediately.
OFSI Batch 8
One of the key takeaways from the seminar was the importance of saving and investing. I knew I had to start small, given my limited income at the time. So, I committed to saving as low as 1,000 pesos a month from my salary. It wasn't much, but it was a start. The key was consistency. Every month, without fail, I set aside that money and invested it in the stock market.

My initial foray into the stock market was cautious. I knew little about how it worked, but I was determined to learn. As I invested, I simultaneously immersed myself in studying investing and stock trading. I spent countless hours reading books, watching tutorials, and following market trends. This self-education not only helped me make better investment decisions but also gave me the confidence to stay the course, even when the market was volatile. I even get my hands into stocks trading and that is well documented on my YouTube channel and some of the videos I made were also shared on this blog.

As my knowledge of investing grew, so did my ambition. I realized that financial literacy wasn’t just about investing; it was about understanding all aspects of money management. To broaden my skill set, I started studying business accounting. This knowledge was crucial, as it provided me with the foundation I needed to think beyond just investing in stocks. The book I can strongly recommend to read before you start your own business especially if you are not an accountant is "Finance for Non-financial Managers". It sparked an interest in entrepreneurship, and I began to explore the idea of starting my own business.

By 2023, I felt ready to take the next big step in my financial journey. With the savings I had accumulated over the years, plus the capital from my stocks stocks trading portfolio, and the knowledge I had gained, I invested in a startup business in the motorcycle parts industry. It was a calculated risk, but I believed in the potential of the market and my ability to run the business effectively.

Running a business brought its own set of challenges, but the financial literacy and business accounting skills I had acquired over the years proved invaluable. I was able to manage the finances of the business efficiently, make informed decisions, and navigate the ups and downs of entrepreneurship. Today, my business is thriving, and I have successfully broken free from the cycle of living paycheck to paycheck.

Looking back, the journey wasn't easy, but it was worth it. The key to my success was a combination of education, consistent saving, and calculated risks. Attending that financial literacy seminar in 2015 set me on a path of self-improvement and financial empowerment. By taking small, consistent steps and continually learning, I was able to transform my financial situation and achieve a level of stability I once thought was out of reach.

My story is a testament to the power of financial literacy and perseverance. No matter how small you start, with the right knowledge and mindset, you can break free from financial limitations and build a brighter future. Break the cycle.

Exercise

Today, I challenged myself to exercise daily for one month. The exercise routine is very simple. Five regular push-ups, five wide push-ups, five diamond push-ups, 10 burpees, 10 jump squats. This is composed of 2 sets. I'm doing this routine in the morning after getting up from bed and another one after I arrived at home from work.

Forget about the background on the below picture. I edited in Canva to look nice. The routine doesn't need any equipment. No reason to go to gym. I just deleted the background because my room is disgusting.

Why I'm doing this?

At age 47, I felt that I really slowed down. Not as sharp as before. The nature of my work requires me to sit most of the time. My posture is now molded to a chair. So, I will try to do this routine for one month hoping to build a new habit.

I went back to the basketball court also and started playing basketball to build my stamina.

On stocks trading

I intend to go back to stocks trading this coming January 2025. My trading capital was spent on the renovation of my vulcanizing shop. Hopefully, by January, I can pull out some of the profit from my shop and put it back in my trading account. Inshallah!

"I Dare You to Trade" - Taglish technical analysis book na mas madaling maintindihan

If you want to learn about stocks trading, dapat aralin mo muna. Isa sa mabisang paraan para matuto is to read books. Para sa akin ha, mas madali kong matutunan ang isang bagay pag binasa ko. However, most of the technical analysis books were written in English, at US market ang mga studies at examples.

Kagaya ang CALMA and MAMA strategy. In fact, CALMA strategy ang paborito kong gamitin dahil swak yong time frame nito sa akin.

Why you should buy at EOD price?

When you are monitoring your watch list for a potential entry signal regardless of which setup you used, there's a possibility that you will enter at a price other than the end-of-day price or EOD price, even if the trading setup or the system or the strategy's rule is to enter at EOD. If you use the MAMA strategy, why the heck you entered before EOD?

This happens most of the time when you are opening your broker account before 2:45 PM. You click the enter button when you are so afraid that the price might go up without you on board, especially if the buy signals already showed up on the chart. You are just waiting for the closing price, but why can't resist you entering before EOD which is a violation of your strategy rule.

Then after entering, you are so happy because the price started going up and moments thereafter you start celebrating and starting believing how brilliant you are for entering early. But at the end of the day, the price went down a few points below your entry point. Then you start banging your head because you are setting on a 3 percent loss already while waiting for the next trading day.

During the night you are already restless, thinking about your position and bias started to cloud your mind. You are telling yourself to wake up early and I should monitor this trade because once it goes down another few points then it will hit my 5% risk tolerance so, I need to get out of the trade.

This feeling of restlessness could have been avoided if you waited for the EOD for your entry. You could have peace of mind thinking that a full 5% drop will get you out of the trade whereas entering early a 2 percent drop will hit your stop loss.

Even if we flip the scenario, let's say you entered early and the EOD price was 3% above your entry point. Then you sleep that night thinking very positively about your position. This is also dangerous because you are already biased even before the market opens for the next trading day. What a trader must attain is to have a neutral mind while monitoring your open position during market hours.

That's one of the advantages of entering or buying at EOD.

That answers the question as to why you should enter or buy at EOD.

But the next interesting question would be how you enter at EOD?

Most newbies find it difficult to enter EOD. They end up entering their bids but were not filled because they don't understand how the closing price works.

Well, I will try to show you also how to do that, but before that, if find this video helpful give it a thumbs up, by hitting the like button, share this video with your friends, and if you are new here, consider subscribing if you haven't already, for more videos like this.

Why you should journal every trade?

Last night I updated my PL Trades journal. I entered around 50 closed trades or so. If you want to know more about PL Trades, I will discuss more of them later on.

Keeping a journal of all my trades was one of the first things I learned when I decided to try to learn and study stock trading back in 2019. Back then, I still didn't realize the importance of keeping a trade journal. But I keep journaling my trades because it is one of the most highlighted and advised things to do in any stock trading book I've read. The only inconsistency I had in terms of keeping a stocks journal, is that I used so many types of stocks trading journal formats. First, I used the trading journal format of Dr. Alexander Elder, the author of the book "The New Trading for A Living". Later on, I used the trading journal format of Mark Minervini, which is a very very good format.

Later on, I came across a trading journal format shared by one of the Traders Den's members. It was a very very nice format in excel that I'm in love with it and I'm using this format until now. I'm using it specifically in journaling my trades as a TDS student.

I'm also using a Personal Finance software called Quicken. It has a feature that allows me to record my stock's position, and open and close trades apart from its capability to record all other aspects of the personal finance spectrum that needs to be recorded like income expense, assets, net worth etcetera. You can also generate lots of reports from this software.

Quicken is my main journal as I recorded most if not all of my personal finance stuff, such as tracking my assets and liabilities and net worth. Quicken is also my go-to software to record Marge's long-term investments in stocks. I also recorded my PERA or the Personal Equity and Retirement Account contributions on Quicken.

Let me know in the comments section if you are interested to know more about quicken.

If I get a lot of comments about it, I might create a full video about it as well.

Back to the main topic of this video.

If you notice, I talked about lots of journal formats already. So what's the whole point of this? What's the importance of having or keeping a stock journal?

Well, like any other business you really need to record all transactions, because:

1. It is better to write the palest ink than to keep it in your most retentive memory or the palest ink is better than the best memory. It's from a Chinese proverb if I'm not mistaken, don't quote me on that, that I cannot forget until now, which was thought when I was in high school.

2. A good trading journal that records the details of your trade, will provide you lots of different matrices to guide you on how you are going to proceed forward with your trading. A journal can generate reports such as your overall batting average, batting average per trading strategy if you used more than one strategy, your profit factor, edge ratio, trade expectancy, and risk management among many others.

3. A good trading journal will provide you with hints and insights as to which direction your trading journey is headed. Is it heading to disaster or accumulation of wealth?

4. Keeping a journal is done by professional traders, how much more the retail traders, like you and me. So we should keep it we want to be on that pro level.

What I've mentioned right now were just a few of the many good reasons why you should keep a record of all your trades.

Let's take a look at PL Trades, PL trades is a free social stocks trading journal platform created for those who traded stocks in the Philippine Stock Market. All you have to do is sign up for an account and you can start recording your trades right away, you can also write what you feel or your emotional state during the trade because there's a place for that too. You can also record your withdrawal and deposits and you can interact also with other users also.

In the beginning, I mentioned that I entered like 50 closed trades last night. Actually, I was like abandoning my journal here as I already maintained two separate journals already. But I realized that it's better also to maintain PL Trades also as this is also a very good place to keep a journal to show transparency on what I am doing here in this channel because you can view it any time.

At the end of the day, I wanted to prove if I can succeed in stocks trading if really I can make a living out of stocks trading and be a full-time stocks trader soon. I believe PL Trades is a good place to share.

If you do not have a trading journal yet, or you are still undecided as to which trading journal format to use, well, PL Trades is a good place to start.

If you are interested in all or any one of the trading journals I've mentioned in this video, just click the corresponding link below. Most of them are free to use. But if you choose to use Quicken, the link I provided, included an affiliate link, which means when you click my link and buy Quicken, I will get a small commission without any added cost from your end.

Thank you so much for watching, if you found this video helpful, give it a thumbs up, share the video and subscribe to my channel if you haven't already. Thank you and I will see you at the next one.

Why read all your trading books again?

When I started learning how to trade stocks in April 2019, I tried to read as much books as possible. From second hand books that I purchased from a fantastic bookstore called "Better Books" here in Kuwait that buys and sells old books and then all the way to new books that I bought from a local bookstore also here in Kuwait.

I've got one good second hand book from Better Books titled "Greed and Glory on Wall Street" written by Ken Auletta. It's the story of the fall of the Lehman Brothers, I got it for two and a half Kuwaiti Dinars or around 7 dollars US. This book cost around 18 dollars US from Amazon brand new.

I also buy books from Amazon and I used to buy the kindle version as it is relatively cheaper than the actual books and of course doesn't require shipping, thus saving shipping cost that sometimes gets too expensive. Even more expensive than the book itself defending on its size and weight. Let's say for example the book of Mark Minervini, "Trade Like a Stock Market Wizard" the hard cover cost 26 dollars US plus the shipping cost, whereas the kindle version cost only around 16 dollars US without the shipping cost.

I already read all my books mostly all of them in 2019. So why I'd like to read all these books once again. And why I recommend that you read all your trading books once again too.

Well, when I read these books in 2019, there are tons of words and terminologies that I can't really understand. Although, I used to google every word that I do not understand while reading, but still, there were words that I can't completely understand. Now, having three years of hands on experience trading stocks in the Philippine market, reading these books again, the terms and the ideas presented became more clear and vivid to me.

Let's take as an example the book of Mark Minervini titled "Think and Trade Like a Champion," there's a section of this book titled "How and when to buy stocks. The topic talks about the non-negotiable criteria of buying stocks. This section also introduced Mark Minervini's SEPA methodology or the Specific Entry Point Analysis wherein he talks about terms like the 4 market stages, the significance of 200 moving average. These terms were alien to me when I read this book back in 2019.

Think & Trade Like a Champion and Trade like a Stocks Market Wizard were the books I read early on. I consider these books as an advance books intended for traders who had at least maybe 2 to 3 years experience as a trader in my opinion or someone who understands already the basics like the indicators, someone who already knows how to read chart, knows how to plot support and resistance etcetera. Because these books no longer discuss those basics as it discusses mainly on strategy and mindset.

Nauna ko kasing tapusin ang mga libro na ito kaysa doon sa mga basic. Kaya minsan pag nabasa ko ang paliwanag ng isang terminology na hind ko naintindihan sa libro ni Minirvini ay napa aha ako. I will go back to the book again and read that particular section.

Dahil dito na realize ko na kailangan kong basahin ulit ang mga libro na ito mula umpisa ulti. Dahil segurado ano na mas maintindihan ko pang maigi ang mga nilalaman into.

I believe that I will be able to understand the content in these books more after I read the books from Traders Den. I already finished reading young PAMANA books set composed of 5 books. Yong paano yumaman sa stock market, tabula Rasa Trading Course book, the boss, I dare you to trade, at maduming Merkado.

If you don't have any of the books I mentioned in this video, I posted a link in the description. Disclosure lang, some of the links are affiliate links, ibig sabihin if you click and decided to buy the book or kindle version I will receive a little commission at no added cost from your end.

Let me know in the comments if you completely understand the trading books the first time you read them, and let me know if it is worth while to read them once again.

My Trading and YouTube setup

Hello Traders, welcome back to our channel, in this video, I'll share my trading set-up, (hindi trading strategy)but the computer setup I used in stocks trading and creating videos for this channel.

Pero bago yan, let' me throw the intro para todo.

This setup was not built overnight. This is an accumulation over time. Most of the items were already with me for a few years except for a few new additions. This video is not sponsored by any of the brands I mentioned. However, I provided links to all the items in the description box below. If you click the link and buy any of these items I will earn a little commission at no additional cost from your end.

The first item in this setup is the white table that I used right now. I bought this table from Ikea for less than 10 Dinars in 2019. This table has adjustable legs where I can adjust the height I want. But this is adjusted manually. This is not an electronically controlled height adjusting table. That's something expensive.

Now let's go to the monitor I used. Currently, I'm using a 27 inch HP, Full HD as my primary monitor. This monitor was a gift from a friend. It costs around 200 dollars brand new.

Anyway, next up is the mouse and keyboard. I currently used a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse from Microsoft. I've got it from maybe 5 years ago but still works perfectly fine.

Next up is one of the most important of this set up with regards to creating videos is my camera. I'm using a Canon 250D DSLR camera. It is connected through a capture card. A capture card is a small gadget that can turn any camera into a webcam. I love this camera because I can also use it not just as a webcam when recording tutorials but I can also use it as a vlogging camera because it has a flip-out screen, where I can see myself while doing the recording.

Next up is my audio setup which is equally important as the video setup. Recently, I upgraded my audio as I was being criticized for having deteriorating audio on my earlier videos. So, I upgraded my audio from a USB microphone to a Tonor TC20 XLR microphone driven by M-Audio solo audio interface. The audio dramatically improved and I no longer received negative comments and feedback.

Now, next is the very heart of this setup. This setup is powered by M1 Mac Mini, the biggest upgrade in my trading and youtube setup. Before, I used an old dell laptop which has poor performance of today's standard. In January 2021, I purchased my M1 Mac mini, which generally improved my video editing and live streaming activities.

The Mac Mini released in November 2020 has the M1 chip from Apple itself. Apple stopped relying on third-party chip makers like Intel and produce their own. That's why they were able to cut costs and sell Mac Minis at a cheaper price level and yet have better performance.

Now let's proceed to the accessories I used in my setup. First is the 1 Terra byte external HDD hard drive from Seagate, which solves the storage problem with my Mac Mini as it has only 256 GB SSD hard drive storage capacity. The second most important peripheral I need is the DLink USB Type C hub that solves connectivity problems with the Mac Mini. This hub has 2 USB ports, 1 HDMI port, 1 USB type C port, 1 VGA port, and an internet port.

Okay, so that is all for my setup. Now let's go to the software part of my setup. There's two software I used to create videos and stocks trading. First is the OBS software which is essential for recording, streaming, and capturing my computer screen. The second one is the Filmora X editing software. It's very user-friendly editing software. That's why I love using them. So, that's all about the hardware and the software that I used.

Be a lone wolf to become a profitable trader

You've read books, applied the learnings. You know the basics. Started trading with a live account.

Joined many FB groups. Subscribed to YouTube channels. Pero bakit lugi pa din?

You need to become a lone wolf so that you will become profitable sa mundo ng trading.

No need to follow all educators, influencers. At least one or two is enough.

At the end of the day, it should be you and the market. No need to listen to so many voices during your trade. These are noise.

Learn about the market, and learn as much about your own self. Know yourself better, deeper.

Start with these self-examining questions:
  • What's my reaction to losses? (Galit ba ako? Tanggap ko ba? Agad?)
  • What am I doing, if I'm feeling excited? (Jump into a trade?)
  • What am I doing, if I'm feeling greedy? (Holding on too long?)
  • What am I doing, if I'm feeling afraid? (Get out of the trade too early?)
Each one of us does things differently against each emotion.

With those feelings inside us at some point in time may we react accordingly. Don't worry it's normal.

But in trading, we need to check what we are doing while in a state of any emotions, I mentioned above.

Actually, you should do nothing. Basta walang buy or sell signal and stock sa iyong watchlist.

What's your trading goals in 2021?

Hello guys, welcome back to my channel and please... don't tell me na naniniwala ka doon sa una kong sinabi. Zero to Billions? Seriously? Baka thousands to Zero pwede pa? Realistic pa. Well, I'm just kidding with you guys no pun intended. Kasi kalokohan yang Zero to billions na sinasabi ko sa inyo guys sa mga kagaya kong baguhan lamang.

Seryoso tayo, what I going to share with you in this video is regarding my trading goals ngayong 2021. As you know natapos ko na yong second year ko sa pag trade. At ibinahagi ko sa inyo ang trading results ko sa last na upload ko. Kung hindi mo pa napanood yong mangiyak ngiyak ako dahil sa losses ko ay mapapanood mo ang video na yan sa link sa itaas. Yann... dyan.

So, a brief summary lang sa aking two years na experience sa pagtrade kagaya mo noong una kong sabak sa trading eh talagang roller coaster yong first year. Kahit sabihin mo sa akin na sa una mong pasok sa stocks trading ay nataon na bull market, maaaring yong unang few trades mo ay panalo. Pero I'm pretty sure na mas marami sa ating mga newbie ang first year overall result talaga is a stunning, if not a horrible loss. Minsan pa nga ay may mga na wipe out na account and you will never see them trade again. Meron pong study about sa topic na yan. But if you survive your first year and decided to commit yourself to learn the skill of stocks trading and getting the monetary reward, later on, sure you will come up with a goal the following year.

On my second year, talagang I noted down lahat ng mga mistakes na nagawa ko during my first year at yon ang aking iniwasan during my second year. At ang resulta, hindi na na nadadagdaan yong mga talo ko noong first year. Although di ko pa nabawi lahat ng mga talo ko sa trading during my first year, but I came up na may green na port this year.

Ito yong mga mistakes na iniwasan ko during my second year na nagawa ko noong first year.

1. Trading without plan or strategy.

2. Overtrading slash revenge trading

3. No risk management

4. Not respecting stop loss.

5. Unable to control FOMO.

In addition to avoiding those mistakes ay nagaral ako more about stocks trading and the stock market in general. Basa ng libro, maraming libro at marami pang libro.

Malaking bagay din na nag reduce ako ng trading capital at salamat sa Marge, dahil the bulk of my portfolio ay nilipat ko sa Marge. If you want to know more about marge, silipin nyo na lang sa retire rich channel at meron akong video na ginawa about marge.

Going back to the video, so, I completed my second year sa pag trade. Please note guys that I consider stocks trading as a bachelor's degree. I completed my second year. I started April 2019. So here's my trading goal for my third year.

1. I would like to increase my trading capital as the economy recovers, pero sinong nakakalaam kong hanggang kailan pa matatapos itong pandemic or kong makasurvive ako nito. By the way guys na Covid nga pala ako noong november 2020. Thanks God naka survive.

2. I will be studying and digging deeper about CALMA strategy which is I found na bagay sa aking bilang isang OFW dahil wala akong time to monitor the entire trading day. Isa isahin ko ang mga indicators ng CALMA and I will explore also other strategies na ma longer time frame like CALMA.

3. I will read again all the books na nabasa ko na kasi nga when I read those books during my first two years sa pag trade.. there are terms na hindi ko pa ma gets. Pero kong basahin ko ulit siguro ito ngayon ay mas maintindihan ko ito.

4. I will keep journaling my trades sa quicken, sa excel, sa PL trades and uploading videos here on youtube dahil this channel serves as my journal also sa aking pag nanais na matutung mag trade.

So guys, ikaw? ano ang trading goals mo nitong 2021? let me know sa comments below baka pwede kung idagdag sa mga goals ko din.

And to end this video, let's answer the question bakit kailangang may goals tayo? Para sa aking this is my way of tracking my progress. Kasi kung wala kang goals or targets, para bang wala kang specific na pupuntahan. So, we need to have goals para meron kang direction na pupuntahan, but remember also, that before you plan for your goals you need to establish first kung nasaan ka ngayon. That is your point of reference going to where or what you want to achieve.

Thank you so much for watching. See you on my next video.
